Stellium in a birth chart
What it is
House 9 calls a stellium three or more planets in one sign, each tied to the cluster by a conjunction of 10 degrees or less. The planets have to chain together: each one sits within 10 degrees of at least one other planet in the group.
Four or more planets in that chain is a major stellium. Chart angles and the lunar nodes do not count. They are points on the wheel, not planets.
What it is not
Several planets in the same house with no conjunction, or planets in neighboring signs that look stacked on a wheel drawing, are not this pattern. The calculator will not label those a stellium.
How to read one
The sign of the cluster is the tone. The house (if you have a birth time) is where that tone shows up in life. Conjunctions fuse the planets. You get a loud theme, not three separate stories.
Cast yours
Run the free natal chart. If a stellium is there, it lands under Patterns with the planet names.
House 9 is a morning practice. See the sky against this chart, set an intention, and write with companion journaling.
