T-square in a birth chart

What it is

A T-square is two planets opposite each other, with a third planet squaring both and sitting at the stem of the T. That third planet is the focal point. The figure is made of one opposition and two squares.

What it is not

A single square is not a T-square. A grand cross (four planets, two oppositions) is a different pattern on the same calculator.

How to read one

Opposition is the tug of war. Squares are the friction. The focal planet is where the chart tends to dump the work. Useful, often restless. Not a curse.

Cast yours

If the calculator finds one, Patterns lists the three planets.
